“I choose this product because it appeared to be exactly the same as what I had. I don’t exactly remember how long I’ve had the 1st one but it has probably been 10 years. I used it a lot and frankly was pretty rough on it.
The original finally started to fail to allow gas to flow. If this one last half that long I’ll be thrilled. Used it yesterday and it heats up so quickly! Then you can turn it off and slap the cap over the end. I don’t worry about after that point. It’s great for shrink wrap too. Lot’s of heat if you want it – it’s adjustable.”
